This hotel in New York is famous for two things. It has a cat the goes anywhere it wants to in the hotel. A famous group of humans used to meet there. They called themselves, “the Round Table”.

They were famous, because many people knew about them. They had fame for different reasons. Some were writers. We don’t know if they liked cats.

You can also be famous because you are/were infamous. If you’re infamous that means you have done something unusual and bad. Humans tend not to like infamous people.

I’ve heard people talk about people being “famous for being famous”. I’m really not sure what that means or how that happens.
