I’ve had enough!

This expression has two meanings. The first is that you don’t want anymore of something. If someone offers you more food or drink, you might say, “no thank you, I’ve had enough”.

It also can mean that something has been going on in your life and you don’t want it to continue. “I’ve had enough of this cold weather”. “I’ve had enough of my assistant complaining”. Other ways to express this are “I’m sick of”, or even more extreme “I’m sick and tired of”, “I’m done with”, or “I’m over…..”

Do we look like we’re over something? What could two cats be over?
